FAQs

YOU HAVE QUESTIONS, WE HAVE ANSWERS!

I’ve never been to a group fitness class and I am worried I will not be able to keep up!

No need to worry. We welcome all newbies and first timers with open arms! Let your instructor know before class that it is your first time and they will make sure you feel comfortable to begin before class starts. Also, remember you are in control of your RIDE. Do the best that you can do while listening to your body and do not worry about anyone else; this workout is for YOU!

While our devoted and driven instructors attempt to maximize everyone’s efforts, there are no limits or prerequisites. You ultimately choose how hard to work during any class at RIDE. Time, patience and dedication will see you through!

What should I wear?

We recommend wearing workout leggings or bike shorts but avoid wearing loose pants as they can get in the way of the pedals.

Do you have changing rooms?

Yes, we have two bathrooms and a shower room.

Do you have storage for coats and personal items?

Yes, we have cubbies and coat hooks! However, we do recommend leaving whatever personal items you can at home or in the car.

Do I need cycling shoes?

We do offer cycling shoes at the studio, but if you have your own spin shoes, bring them! Our pedals are compliant with SPD clips. If you prefer your sneakers, not to worry! Our pedals are double sided and have feet cages for your sneakers, if you prefer.

Should I bring my own water?

Feel free to bring your own water. We also have water for sale at the front desk area as well as a water machine for filling up any reusable bottles.

Should I bring my own towel?

We provide towels, but you are more than welcome to bring your own if you prefer!

Do I need to make a reservation for the class or is it okay to drop in?

It’s always best to reserve your spot ahead of time but if you are in the area and want to drop by, please feel free. We have limited slots in each class and they fill up quickly, so the best way to secure your spot is to sign up online via our website and reserve your spot.

How far in advance can I schedule classes online?

You can schedule classes up to 2 weeks in advance via our website or the MINDBODY app.

What happens if I reserved a spot online and I cannot make it to class?

If you cannot make a class please undo your reservation online within 8 hours before class is set to start. We do ask that you please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of class to get your bikes, mats, straps, etc. properly set up. If you are new to spin please allow yourself more time to have a staff member familiarize you with the studio and get you set up for class.

What if I want to pay cash?

You are welcome to pay by cash at the studio.

How do I reserve a bike at RIDE?

Reservations / Walk-ins / Class Spot Release Policy

As mentioned above you we do accept walk-ins without an online reservation if there are open spots in class. If you have reserved your spot in advance please be on time as empty spots will be released to these walk-ins at the start of each class.

Cancellation Policy – If you do not cancel your reservation 8 hours in advance of the class start time, a class will be deducted from your class card. If you have “monthly unlimited”, you will be charged a $18 late cancellation fee.
